Bodyscapes & Silhouettes
Bodyscapes and Silhouettes are a great entry into the world of Intimate Photography. While both are traditionally done nude, they allow the subject to remain completely anonymous.
With Bodyscapes, the intent is to use posing and lighting to create interesting “landscapes” with the body or to focus on one particular part of the body, such as the elegant curve of the small of a woman’s back or the muscle definition of well-toned abs.
Silhouettes on the other hand place the subject in front of an illuminated background (backdrop, window, etc) resulting in the body being completely black except for where the light caresses the edges of the figure. Clean lines are the key to great silhouettes, so for best results going nude is strongly recommended.
